  • Pokémon Battlefield is a fan-game created by ★VS★ on the Nintendo Wii. The game has the battling style from the Pokémon main series games, along with similar gameplay from Pokémon Battle Revolution. Also like Battle Revolution, it supports connectivity with the Nintendo DS systems, allowing players to copy Pokémon from their Generation IV, V, or VI main series games over to this game while using the Nintendo DS as a controller. The game's mascot is the Legendary Pokémon Kyurem, who is featured on the front & back of the boxart. Reshiram and Zekrom could be considered mascots for the game, as they appear with Kyurem on the back of the boxart.

Reshiram and Zekrom could be considered mascots for the game, as they appear with Kyurem on the back of the boxart. In the game, the player chooses between a playable male and female character, like in the main series games. Then the characters arrives at a large colosseum, found on a small island that is located in the middle of the current regions: Kanto, Johto, Hoenn, Sinnoh, and Unova. The player starts off with these level 50 Pokémon: Servine, Pignite, Dewott, Tranquill, Eelektrik, and Krokorok. The player can transfer his or her Pokémon from Generation IV/V games and use them for battles outside the story, otherwise, the player must keep the Pokémon given to him or her at the beginning of the game. The player must battle the eight Stadium Leaders, who are exactly like Gym Leaders, except the player does not receive Badges aftrer defeating them. Stadium Leaders use one type, and their Pokémon are all at level 50. After the player has defeated all the Stadium Leaders, he or she moves into the Colosseum, where he or she battles Trainers who use various types. The Trainers are characters who are important throughout the anime or main series games. Their Pokémon are all level 50 also. After the player has defeated all the Trainers, he/she battles the Colosseum Champion, who uses various level 65 Pokémon, 15 levels stronger than the player's Pokémon. After the player defeats the Colosseum Champion, he/she can rebattle the Stadium Leaders and can challenge the Colosseum again. The player can earn prizes from the Colosseum Bazaar. More prizes become available as the player advances in the game.
