| - The Hetairoi is a Greek cavalry unit in Age of Mythology. It is trained at the Fortress and Stable (The Titans), and is the unique unit for Poseidon.
- The Hetairoi were aerial melee troops in Saradomin's Armies during the Second Age and Third Age. They consisted of only Icyene Knights who were of the nobility that originally assisted Saradomin in his conquest of their homeworld. They were hundreds, if not thousands, of years old, only out-aged by the Mahjarrat and the Gods themselves. They are said to be the most experienced melee fighters on the planet. They were very unreliable in battle, however, due to being nobility, they value their own lives over the outcome of the battle, and often ran at the first sight of danger.
