The Ring of Sindri's Folk, known as The Ring of Guile, had been given to Darsha openly by ambassadors of Sauron. Darsha who initially did not know the ring came from Sauron, passed it on to his heirs. The Ring vanished with Darsha's heir Buldin who, being exiled, isolated himself with the rest of his host at Nurunkizdin. It was generally believed that Sauron's servants later captured Buldin's heir and forced him to hand over his Ring to the Lord of Mordor.
