The Elven Council of Elders is an unofficial name given to a government body that once ruled the elven nation of Tirannwn on the western Gielinorian mainland. Prior to the Battle of Prifddinas in the Year 1930 of the Fourth Age, the council represented the eight Elven Clans in their joint leadership in Prifddinas. After the events of Plague's End the current Elven clan leaders presumably are the new council, but this is currently unknown.

Prior to the Battle of Prifddinas in the Year 1930 of the Fourth Age, the council represented the eight Elven Clans in their joint leadership in Prifddinas. Since the beginning of the Elven Civil War, Prifddinas has remained solely under the leadership of Lord Iorwerth, while the remaining clans have been forced into Isafdar and the Arandar Mountain Range. Although the Council no longer exists as it did following Seren's arrival in Gielinor, it presumably still exists in some fashion within the other seven clans currently hiding in Lletya, amongst other places. After the events of Plague's End the current Elven clan leaders presumably are the new council, but this is currently unknown.
