| - City Commons Carved from the ancient rock of this planetary chunk, this chamber is about sixty yards in diameter with a domed ceiling that is one hundred feet tall at its highest point. In contrast to the spaceport facility, which glows as if illuminated by a supernova thanks to high-powered lamps, this commons is more subtly lit. Shadows fill much of the higher reaches of the dome, while soft bluish-white lights provide a twilight glow to the rest of the chamber. Archways lead to the spaceport, a tavern, and the planetoid's commercial and residential districts. Rhys is currently engaged in wearily but gamely chasing a small coffee-skinned tow-headed child around the commons, smiling indulgently as the little girl dodges her, squealing. "Sure, and after a full day o work you'll be the death o me." she calls after. Kriskosivich arrives from the Commercial District, looking around. He seems quite bored as he itches at his stubble. Kriskosivich chuckles as he see's Rhys. He stands straight a moves to approach her. Rhys chases the girl for a few minutes more, the two of them careful of the thin night crowd, and then slows up. She spots Kris approaching and offers him a smile, then calls after the girl, "Leulu, dearie, it's time t'be gettin you home. Come along back, now." Kriskosivich grins and says, "I take it zat zat ees von of yeer neeces?" he smiles as he stands straight and watches the scene, "Queet leevly, eesn't she?" The blonde girl reluctantly comes back, edging somewhat shyly behind Rhys and peering around her at the taller man with shy eyes. Rhys reaches back to place a hand on her head, scuffing her hair fondly as she nods. "You'd be takin it right. This is Leulu, my brother's youngest girl." Kriskosivich nods, smiling at the girl briefly and nodding before turning his attention back to Rhys, "I vas zee only cheeld. No neephews or neeces non my part." Rhys shakes her head at Kris, saying, "So you'd been tellin me. Yer parents weren't the real sociable type were they?" Kriskosivich chuckles and shakes his head, "Not at all. Zey keept to zem zelves." LeBeau walks out of the Rockhopper and stretches his arms up over his head Rhys sighs deeply, bending over to hoist the girl behind her onto her hip. The child looks much relieved to be in the protective arms of an adult, and looks back at Kris boldly now as the woman speaks. "It be takin all kinds, I suppose. Have you been keepin yerself busy the last day or two?" Kriskosivich shrugs, "I just got von ordeer. Zat's all. Noting eelse to do." he sighs. Rhys chuckles, shifting Leulu's weight slightly as she speaks. "I met an aspirin racer in the bar this mornin. He was sayin how if he had a sponsor he's want t'be enterin, but just couldn't be findin the money." LeBeau notices to two talking and approaches them, more in the direction of the male. Kriskosivich scratches his chin, "Who? I could leend heem eet..." Rhys sends an absent smile at LeBeau as he approaches, thinking aloud, "Scow... Sccas... Scouser, maybe? Red-headed guy from Earth, before all that mess." Kriskosivich shrugs and shakes his head, "On seecond zought, no. I beelieve zere's alreedy a repreesentateeve from ees company." Rhys shifts the child's weight again on her hip, admonishing, "It's not polite t'be starin like that, Leulu." leulu glances worriedly at Rhys, hiding her head in the woman's shoulder, and Rhys chuckles. "Loo always was the shy one. I'm not fer understandin it myself." LeBeau looks to Kriskosivich "So yu mus be da fella dat has mo o less taken control o Vroom an da rockhoppers en da company's previous owner's disapperance" Kriskosivich gives a nod to Rhys. He turns to face LeBeau and nods, "Zat I have. I am Alexi Kriskosivich. Are you eenterested een purchaseeng vone of our wessels?" Rhys listens silently, looking LeBeau over as he speaks. LeBeau chuckles and shakes his head as he extends his hand to the man "No. Actually I already own on. Da name es Remy LeBeau" Kriskosivich nods, accepting LeBeau's hand and giving a firm shake before releasing. He says, "Ahh, vhat can I do for you, Meesteer Leebeau?" LeBeau shrugs "Nodding much really. I jus waned to meed who e'er had taken o'er Vroom an 'm guessing es da one responsible fo sedding up da upcomming race dat was announced" Rhys slips her neice down to the ground, straightening her back with a wince. "I need t'be takin Loo t'bed, now. Be seein you later, the both of you." she says witha smile, and shepherds the girl off.
