Hector Chotteau (born 1897) was a Belgian goaltender. He was a long-time member of the Belgian National Team, appearing at five European Championships (1924-1929), the 1928 Winter Olympics, and the World Championships in 1930 and 1931. He spent most of his club career with Cercle des Patineurs Anversoises, but joined Etoile du Nord in 1935. Chotteau was the first known goaltender in Europe to wear a mask during a game. This occurred against CSH Paris on November 21, 1925.
