The adventurers finally arrive at Haven and Parlainth. They proceed to have a look around, when Neffy and D'zurr are accosted by the town guard at a local bawdy tavern (which turned out to be a brothel named "The Painted Tart" and was mistaken to be a bakery). Neffy was arrested after accusations of being a Horror. To console Neffy, D'zurr brought some cake (with a secret file in it), but it was consumed by the guard ("No cakes for Horrors. Omnomnom."). A retired adventurer approached the group and said that he knew of a way to prove that Neffy was not a Horror. He soon described a location deep within Parlainth that had a hidden dungeon, and inside was a device called the Astral Sextant.

  • The adventurers finally arrive at Haven and Parlainth. In the dungeon, the adventurers tackled some Waxmen, a Bone Shambler, some Creeping Vines, a large variety of traps, and some very LUCKY Vampire Bats. In a storage room, Herald was able to recognize some Ancient Theran and discover a key to the location where the Sextant was held. Upon opening the door to the room, Dharlomei crept into the room and stole the Astral Sextant, and he was immediately attacked by a pair of Stonemen. Having no way of defeating the Stonemen through force of arms or magic, the adventurers ran away (to the tune of "Yakity Sax") with the Stonemen in hot pursuit. They eventually lured the Stonemen to a large pit trap and toppled them into the pit. It was discovered upon using the Astral Sextant that not only was Neffy NOT a Horror, but that her accusers were in fact Horror-tainted. LP Award: 4000
