- "The Dark Age" is the eighth episode of the second season of Buffy the Vampire Slayer, and is the twentieth episode in the series. It was written by Joss Whedon, Dean Batali and Rob Des Hotel and directed by Bruce Seth Green. It was originally broadcast on November 10, 1997. Giles's past comes back to haunt him as a demon he and Ethan Rayne summoned in their wild youth seeks them out in Sunnydale.
- The Dark Age, set after the The Modern Age in magical history is the area in which the OMA board takes place. After the fall of Harry Potter and the world began to return to normal, there was an age of peace in the magical world. However, as with all things, something was bubbling under the surface and so began another rise of the Death Eaters. This time, more determined than ever to win their battle with blood purity. Thus, began the Dark Age. Set 100 years after the fall of Voldemort, the Ministry had finally started to right itself before the upheaval once more set another scream of panic amongst the magical community. An accident in the time chamber of the Ministry of Magic destroys the fabric of time. Suddenly the peace that the magical world had once lived in, is no longer seeming so
