  • Shay Cormack (Irish: Séadhna Corbmac) was a character in the Grand Theft Auto Fanon series who appeared as the protagonist of Grand Theft Auto: Patriot. He was also mentioned by Michael Albright and Bud Winslow in GTA: Rush. Shay grew up in Ireland, where in his college years he fought for the Irish Republican Army. He moved to the United States in 2008, after escaping a Manchester Prison, and coming to Liberty City. Shay tried to live a normal life in America, but was pulled back into the violence after he became hunted by former IRA, now Globalpol agents, Brian Conner and Brady Donoghue. Shay was the older cousin to Joyce Cormack, and son of Francis and Belle Cormack.
