The Ford Ferguson 9N (commonly referred to as the Ford-Ferguson) was produced as a result of the handshake agreement between Henry Ford and Harry Ferguson. Harry Ferguson brought a Ferguson-Brown Model A tractor and plow to Dearborn at his own expense (according to some accounts). After the Ferguson Brown with its three point hitch out-plowed a Fordson Model F near where Greenfield Village is today, the two men made their historic agreement. The joint venture between Henry Ford and Harry Ferguson ended a previous relationship between Harry Ferguson and the David Brown company.

abstract
  • The Ford Ferguson 9N (commonly referred to as the Ford-Ferguson) was produced as a result of the handshake agreement between Henry Ford and Harry Ferguson. The Ferguson-Brown then became the model for the new Ford-Ferguson 9N design. That particular tractor is now on display at The Henry Ford Museum in Dearborn, Michigan. The joint venture between Henry Ford and Harry Ferguson ended a previous relationship between Harry Ferguson and the David Brown company. It featured a hp (kW) engine. Main article: Ford-Ferguson
