The Lato Odhan was a desert on the central part of the continent of Seven Cities. It was bordered on the south by the Ubaryd Odhan and to the west by the Mersin river. The Odhan itself was named after the city of Lato Revae. It was once fertile plains and forests, but the cities lining the Mersin river practiced intensive irrigation, drawing the river’s waters out onto the plains and clearing the forests, leading the the loss of the top-soil of the plains and making the area the desert it is today.
