Joseph Mark "Joe" Trohman (born September 1, 1984) is an American musician, songwriter, composer, singer, and record producer. He is best known as the lead guitarist and backing vocalist of the American rock band Fall Out Boy, as well as the lead and rhythm guitarist for heavy metal supergroup The Damned Things. Fall Out Boy began as Trohman and Pete Wentz's side project from the hardcore punk scene they were involved with, and the band has scored three number one albums on the US Billboard 200.

His family is Jewish, although he noted to JVibe, "I think we were more Jewish culturally than we were religiously because after my brother's Bar Mitzvah, we stopped going to synagogue entirely." Trohman and Pete Wentz attended New Trier High School in Winnetka, Illinois, and the two briefly played together in a band called Arma Angelus. Trohman then met Patrick Stump at a Borders bookstore in Chicago, leading to the formation of the band Fall Out Boy.

In September of 2009, Joe Trohman declared over the popular site Twitter, that he was romantically involved with an Irish woman, who he met while at a Gym Class Heroes show. In December of that year he got a tattoo saying 'Joe & Fiona' on his ankle, which he published over Twitter.
