- The Arcturian Empire was born in 2194 CE, in the chaotic period that followed the outcome of the Reaper War. Founded after Cerberus Network leader William Pyke married the daughter of Alliance Admiral Hacket's daughter, Selena Hacket and proclaimed himself Emperor William Cerberine, the Empire was orriginally confined to the Arcturus sector and had a very small population under its control. Over the next decade, the newly formed Cerberine Dynasty proceeded to consolidate the Empire and construct a large fleet capable of carrying out the next phase of their plans. Having acquired a large quantity of Reaper technology, which was available in abundence during that period, the Empire soon established PsiCorps and the Imperial Legions, the Empire's military branch.
