- Ben Joelson (October 1, 1925 (New Jersey) – August 24, 1996 (Los Angeles, California)) was an American writer who wrote for such television sitcoms as Car 54, Where Are You?, Hogan's Heroes, Get Smart, The Odd Couple, Chico and the Man and Happy Days, as well as Candid Camera and The Love Boat. He was also the creator, along with Art Baer of the Canadian game show, It's Your Move. He died on August 24, 1996 in Los Angeles, California.
