Blubba Productions is a group, not a company, of people who like to make machinima videos in their spare time. It was started by Devin Lynch and Christian Keller back in June 07 when they tried their first machinima ever: A Sims 2 Machinima called Intense Gamers. After seeing that it took too much of their time, they totally scrapped the project. A few months later Devin, Chris and Adam Charette decided to try making a machinima with Halo 3 with absolutely no film experience at all. They made episode 1 of Deserted with a few notes written down but it was pretty much winged. It was originally supposed to be a parody of Lost but quickly changed to a intense plot involving communism. The characters in the series were started as rough copies of the actors personality but slowly changed into their own. After posting the video expecting a few hundred views, it unexpectedly took off and got 1000 views which made them pretty happy, for the time being. A few more months passed and they created a few more episodes until they were featured on the front page of YouTube Canada. This instantly grew their viewer population and got 200,000 views on episode 1 at the time. Around the same time they started to take it more seriously and bought new editing software instead of the crappy Windows Movie Maker. They then made more episodes up until episode 7. They now are working on a new series called Delivery At Arms which is expected to be a very well done series and will be broadcasted on GoodGameTV.com in fall 08. One interesting thing about Blubba Productions is their "Punch And Pie" which they have after the creation of each video. They all go over to Chris's house and eat supper, pie, punch (But usually replaced with Dr. Pepper) and then watch a movie.
