On 29 March 2008, Rovers made the short trip south to Yeovil Town's Huish Park. The statistics were not on Rovers side going into the game, with no wins in the last seven games and Yeovil never having lost a competitive game to the Pirates. There were some positives to take from the previous game, a 2-2 draw with Swansea City though, and an injection of new blood with the loan signings of Wayne Andrews and Jeff Hughes, though Hughes's paperwork was not completed in time for him to be available for this match.

abstract
| - On 29 March 2008, Rovers made the short trip south to Yeovil Town's Huish Park. The only change to the starting eleven for the Swansea game was the introduction of Wayne Andrews up front with Rickie Lambert. Richard Walker was dropped from the bench to be replaced by Joe Jacobson, who was available for selection again after having been away on international duty with the Welsh Under-21 team. The match itself was something of a non-event, with both sides failing to stamp any kind of dominance on the game. The most notable event of the match was the injury to new boy Wayne Andrews, who was injured by a tackle by Terry Skiverton after 17 minutes. He suffered damage to the medial collateral ligament in his right knee, ending his season and his career with Bristol Rovers.
