- Field Day was an athletic competition held at P.S. 38. It was sixth grade versus seventh grade. At the beginning, the captain's chose teams. Nate ended up on Gina's team. Gina made bad choices for the team, as she put a short student doing a high jump, and a slow student in a race. She claims the point of Field Day is for fitness, not to win. Games included a shot put, long jump, high jump, hurtles, races, Jazzercise, and a 3-legged race. The sixth graders didn't win any games except for the last one, the 3-legged race.
