My leaving will demonstrate to anyone and everyone who wants to pull this kind of shit in future that it's an easy and effective way to get rid of people who disagree with them, vote against them, or have been nominated against them in some lame contest that they desperately, pathetically want to win. * While I can understand your anger about it, by their edit history, these accounts haven't really 'done' anything malicious. As an admin, you would get truly hateful messages from users without a shred of humour included, on a regular basis. This is pretty tame stuff in comparison. I misjudged you. ~ 03:54, 21 March 2006 (UTC) If you read the Terms of Service of many web sites you will find that creating accounts pretending to be someone else is in violation of the terms of service and is seen as harassment. I myself have had that done to me by people creating Yahoo profiles and other things using my real name or a variation of my handle. I had Yahoo's admins delete the offending profiles that said I was a pedophile, gay, nazi, whatever. True, I did have a history of using sockpuppets on a few forums many years ago, but all of those sockpuppets were unique names I created that nobody else had, and they never pretended to be other existing users. That was years ago, and I still have people getting on web sites and pretending to be me. It is a form of character assasination and also a form of harassment. I think that maybe Uncyclopedia ought to consider using it as a bannable offense to pretend to be another existing user, because it is really no more than petty vandalism and creating an article on an existing user by making a fake account to put the article into a user page, and get around the vandalism rule. Imagine a Tod Lyons or Todd Lions account that creates user pages saying that he is a pedophile, gay, a nazi, etc. How would you feel if that was you they are harassing and character assasinating on? I am only suggesting it is made a bannable offense, I am not an administrator here, but I am someone who has suffered from this sort of thing before. I can honestly tell you that there were people who confused the fake profiles with mine, and that I suffered for it. Esp when they are in Google, and potential employers can see them and decide not to hire me because someone wrote a few false profiles on me.
