This is the main page for the Interpretations in the Physical and Computational Sciences. Interpretations in the Physical and Computational Sciences has an emphasis on interpretation and will allow the publication of articles and reviews in the physical sciences where a collaboration of a wiki nature will be particularly appropriate, unlike the presentation of clear data without much debate which might be expected in a traditional journal. Typically such situations require help from extra authors to complete the analysis of data or further expertise is called for prior to the paper being ready for full peer review. From this situation it is hoped a new type of scientific collaboration can occur.

Description
  • Interpretations in the Physical and Computational Sciences has an emphasis on interpretation and will allow the publication of articles and reviews in the physical sciences where a collaboration of a wiki nature will be particularly appropriate, unlike the presentation of clear data without much debate which might be expected in a traditional journal. Typically such situations require help from extra authors to complete the analysis of data or further expertise is called for prior to the paper being ready for full peer review. From this situation it is hoped a new type of scientific collaboration can occur. Another area where new kinds of science could occur is the production of review articles, , which are living articles and can thereby be totally up to date as authors can edit and insert references to their primary material on the day it appears elsewhere. Please feel free to start a new article, or leave a message on the discussion page saying what articles you'd like to see in the future. There seems to have been little interest in this area, so the author who submitted three articles will not submit any more until more appear. It is thought that the reason no-one has submitted anything from their active research is that the authors feel they want the qudos of a paper published journal which they can put their CV. Also they may not want to give any ideas away which might be used on a grant application. This however negates the advantage of developing living articles in speculative areas of science where the information is immediately available for all in the world to see.

  • This is the main page for the Interpretations in the Physical and Computational Sciences. Another area where new kinds of science could occur is the production of review articles, (secondary sources), which are living articles and can thereby be totally up to date as authors can edit and insert references to their primary material on the day it appears elsewhere. Please feel free to start a new article, or leave a message on the discussion page saying what articles you'd like to see in the future. There seems to have been little interest in this area, so the author who submitted three articles will not submit any more until more appear. Also they may not want to give any ideas away which might be used on a grant application. This however negates the advantage of developing living articles in speculative areas of science where the information is immediately available for all in the world to see. The Interpretations in the Physical and Computational Sciences also accepts review articles. These can be formal peer review articles or literature reviews of existing published articles or books. The Interpretations in the Physical and Computational Sciences encourages all authors and reviewers to register a user name and associate their work with their real name.
