| - CT-4792', commonly referred to as Stoner, is the leader of Metal Squad, a unit of Clone Troopers still in active military service. Stoner is known for his cold determination, exemplary leadership skills and his seemingly everlasting habit of never letting go of a fight once it has begun, which is where he got his nickname from. Although he may be a rough leader, every man who has ever served under him knows that deep down in Stoner's heart is a place that holds an uncompromising care for those under his command, which has earned him the respect of many of his fellow soldiers.

Stoner served for some time along with his squad in the Grand Army of the Republic and was assigned to the 314th Assault Battalion, until Order 66 was enacted, at which he defiantly stood his ground along with a small group of Clones against the orders from Palpatine, instead choosing to buy enough time for their Jedi commander to escape. Stoner and his few remaining Clones fled from their pursuers, and under his leadership crippled the Empire on multiple fronts throughout the Galactic Civil War. After the Civil War, he and his squad were officially put back into active duty in the service of the New Republic, and were put as part of the 1st Assault Corps. Stoner continued his service time with exemplary courage and skill, until he and his men were finally raised into Special Forces in the Galactic Federation of Free Alliances by no other than Luke Skywalker himself. Although having gained the trust of many Jedi and human regular soldiers in the Federation, Stoner and his men still left them in favor of joining the Mandalorian Protectors to serve as mercenaries, having lost faith in this new system they were fighting for in the aftermath of the Yuuhzan Vong War. Stoner is a grizzled veteran of countless engagements, numbed by all possible horrors of war and steeled by his sheer determination and the knowledge that he is always accompanied by a unit of faithful men he can count on. Also, like the rest of Metal Squad, he still wears his Phase II Clone Trooper armor, refusing to get rid of the battle worn gear and weaponry.
