He is now an investment banker. In May 2008, he married Helen Prentice, a trainee doctor, one of the two daughters of Christopher Prentice, the new British Ambassador to Iraq at Mells, Somerset. The wedding was attended by his 92-year-old patenral grandfather Lord Asquith and by his uncle Dominic Asquith, who was Prentice's predecessor as Ambassador to Iraq.
