In New York, Santuccio was amongst the best known criminal associates of Joseph Valachi to whom he was introduced by Dominick Petrilli in 1928 along with Gaetano Gagliano. Santuccio was allegedly a gunman during the Castellammarese War and participated in the murders of Giuseppe Masseria allies Alfred Mineo, Steve Ferrigno and Joseph Pinzolo. Santuccio was identified as a member of the Genovese crime family in the 1960s by turncoat and onetime friend Joe Valachi. His date of death in unknown.
