"In addition, all text copied from Wikipedia is released under the GNU Free Documentation License (although you still can't use it for commercial gain)." — you can't do that. If it is licensed under the GFDL, it licensed is under the GFDL, and so may be used for commercial purposes in accordance with that license. Just because it is also licensed under CC-BY-NC-SA once you add to it here (which does not allow such use) does not change that fact. You should also be careful not to add GFDL content to existing CC-BY-NC-SA content as the two are incompatible (you can't go CC-BY-NC-SA -> GFDL since that adds commercial rights to previously non-commercial work). --GreenReaper(talk)

  • Thanks for both of your comments :) @Bluer: Yeah, I need to get back on the wikia forum about what our official policy is going to be. It looks like no one else except for admins has a position on this. You know, I never noticed this page was linked to in every edit page.... it should probably be revised XD @GreenReaper: Hmm, your policy seems to be the same as ours in the aspect of trying to combine GFDL and Creative Commons. It was implied on the wikia forum that this meshing is not allowed, but your wiki seems to be okay.. so... O.o I really don't know anything about this, but I do think that we should adopt the new CC license. I just need agreement from other admins.
  • Information on different licences should be added here.
