Thomas "Thom" Frank Racina is an American writer. He is best known as the current head writer of One Life to Live. Racina is known in the daytime community, mostly for General Hospital, Santa Barbara, Generations, and Days of our Lives. He has had a lot of success in daytime including, creating the original Cassadine family, along with the "Ice Princess", writing the most watched viewed episode in daytime, the Luke and Laura wedding, creating one of GHs most infamous villains, Helena Cassadine, marrying supercouple Hope and Bo, and introducing one of DOOLs most popular character, John Black.

On January 13, 2013 it was announced Racina would co-write the revived OLTL with Susan Bedsow Horgan and aimed for a "new, sexy" edge to soaps. In April 2013, it was announced Horgan left the soap for personal reasons, leaving Racina as the core head writer.
