  • *This quest becomes available after completing Starfall Crabs for the Merchants. *Crab Traps may be obtained by selecting choice 1 of the Distracted Crabber adventure in the Starfall Crab Coasts. *Crab Trap Mechanics: **The Crab Traps do not have to be equipped. Fishing with Crab Traps in your inventory at the Drifting Weeds will cause one to randomly trigger. **If you use a Crab Trap, a message will appear indicating that one or more traps were used during fishing. **A maximum of one Crab Trap will trigger per fishing event, but fishing multiple time may trigger multiple traps. **The Crab Traps catch Blue Crabs roughly 33% of the time, and Red Crabs and White Crabs the other 66%. *Expect to spend over 100% fatigue fishing for the Blue Crabs, plus any fatigue required to obtain the traps.
