Elite units are the second level of creatures in Might & Magic: Clash of Heroes, above core units, but below champion units. Two core units of the same color must be placed behind an elite unit to activate it. Like champion units, elite units cannot be used to make walls. In the story mode, champion and elite units must be recruited from static dwellings. Academy, Sylvan, and Inferno have three elite units, while Necropolis and Haven have two.
