  • The Faith of the Mountain Mother is the monotheistic faith of the Ane Polki, worshipping the Mountain Mother (or Blue Lady), who is in constant opposition with the Death Lord Himself. The Faith has many secrets, namely a secret god, only known about by the Yugra Rigredh (the Yugras Come Again), and Bheti Grodhi (Holy Sisters) before them: Rag Boboi (Ane Polki: "the Boy") is born among humankind every generation to fulfill the will of the world, and to one day save us all from the Fall of Humankind. Another important secret is the holiness of the Death Lord Himself, new Yugras are taught that in actuality the Death Lord is a god on equal standing with the Mountain Mother, and forms a holy trinity with her, and the boy. Worshippers of the Mountain Mother are taught to hate him because the Death Lord feeds on hate, and fear, which are important primordial forces of this universe. The only inkling that worshippers of the Mountain Mother have about this is in the phrase: "see no evil, hear no evil, speak no evil." Worshippers interpret it as a tenet of extreme pacifism, but rather it is meant to facilitate the growth of hate, fear, and destruction. In this way, the Faith of the Mountain Mother resembles the Faith of Calthoss the Shadow & the Shine. The Faith was finded by the Boy after he saw the Cold Blue King be brutally savaged by his fellow Ranolki. According to most followers of the Faith, he was so disgusted that he turned to pacifism, but in actuality he simply realized that death and destruction were important aspects of reality. He sought to teach this to the Ane Polki in a way which would allow them to facilitate the growth of destruction; in a way, he allowed the Blue Empire of Sayerthenn to expand outwards, so that they might fulfill the Death Lord's Will.
