Kadiri is a Small town and a municipality in the southeastern part of Anantapur district in Andhra Pradesh, India. The famous Lord Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy Temple is located in this town, and large numbers of Hindu pilgrims visit the Temple throughout the year. The famous Thimmamma Marrimanu (World's Biggest Banyan Tree spread in acres ( ha) of land. It got entry in the Guinness Book of Records, 1989). It is located just 25 km away from Kadiri. Kadiri is also famous for jasmine flowers(Malle Pulu), Vermilion(Kumkum),and Silk(Pattu Dharam).
