- Consolidated Air & Surface Engineering (CASE) is a mid-sized manufacturer of atmospheric craft and vehicles, such as airspeeders, swoops, and rollers. - In early programming, a common problem was met. If there were many choices to make and many conditions to test, then programmers had to use lots of IF's and programming became annoying. Pascal, just like C did, has an instruction for solving this problem. It's name is CASE. This verifies if a variable is equal to a list of elements. The sintax is: case of : command(s) : command(s) : command(s) ................... : command(s) end else command(s) The else is optional but end; is mandatory even if else is not met. See Script:Opperations with numbers for an example.
- Cases serve as the main missions for the Dead Rising series and their successful completion serves to further the story. Cases occur at set times and only have a limited amount of time to be completed. Failing or missing a single case will result in losing all others and ending the story, though you will still be able to roam the mall and finish scoops. When Chuck or Frank find out about a case, the Case File Screen appears.
