Michael Lawrence Needham (born April 4, 1970 in Calgary, Alberta) is a retired professional ice hockey right wing in the NHL. He played junior hockey for the Kamloops Blazers from 1986 to 1990, playing in the 1990 Memorial Cup tournament. He also won the gold medal playing for Canada in the 1990 World Junior Championship. The Pittsburgh Penguins chose him 126th overall in the 1989 NHL Entry Draft. Needham turned pro with the Muskegon Lumberjacks in 1990-91. He was called up in 1991-92 to the Penguins in time to share in their Stanley Cup championship.
