The Kingdom remained open to trade but gives benefits to Neapolitan merchants coming from Montenegro. Brankovic King proclaims that for many centuries the Serbian people turned away from the oppression of the Byzantine and does not intend to return to them. In a last attempt, call the friendship and support of neighboring Kingdoms: Naples, Pope and Hungary. Money is sent to Karolin. Bavaria asks Austria about the possibility of receiving some land from the conquered Mongol regions, maybe even a port so Bavaria can establish a navy. Humanism becomes increasingly popular among the elite and the Royal Class. Nassau and Thuringia continue to be vassalized. Bavaria tells the leadership of Nassau that if they join with Bavaria, they will be much safer and will be able to share in the increasing wealth of the nation. Bavaria maintians that it will not threaten the use of military forces, as Nassau is not to be seen as a conquest, but as a peaceful melding. If they join, they will be allowed to retain all of their titles and wealth and will be added as a semi-autonomous district within Bavaria. Thurigia waits to see what Nassau says, but is beginning to think about the wealth that will be generated, as well as the amount of liberty Baden-Wurttemberg, has. A Bavarian painter by the name of Gregor Rendosa (Italian immigrant) begins a massive fresco depicting the History of Rome in the city of Karolin.

All Neopolitan, Granadian and Portuguese ships encountered by the Venetian navy are sunk with the fast moving Barques of Venice doing most of the damage. Venice continues producing more ships with its arsenal whilst the second arsenal is also finished halfway through the year. Mantua, Modena, Siena, Lacques and Ferrara all send a small contingent of troops to be transported by the Venetians to Iberia. The Venetian expedition to Serbia is cancelled in order to have more troops in the war.
* The Byzantine Empire continues the process of rebuilding, fortifying and repopulating its territories in Greece and Albania, Naples is ordered to get out of the Balkans or face the wrath of the most ancient Empire. The Byzantine Empire continues its army build up and asks Venice to help it build an arsenal in Piraeus. The Byzantine expedition enters Serbia and is greeted by Serbs happy to be rid of the Christian Neopolitian tyrants. The Serbs state they will happily allow the Byzantines to protect their interests from foreigners.
* You can not just walk into Serbia, people do not want the Byzantines there. The King of Serbia has ordered his people and his army that does not allow that.
* Croatia continues military build up, The Duke of Croatia, seeing the current state of Venice decides to wait a while before attacking Bosnia to restore order and expand the HRE.
* Kinich Kakmo, Ikan and Inka all agree to keep upgrading the navy of Chichen Itza. Inka wishes to cease expansion, because it is too costly, but Ikan and Kinich Kakmo overrule her, opting to continue expansion. To appease her, they agree to upgrade the army.
* Frederick III meets with the Portuguese King, and outlines this treaty: Portugal stays out of Spanish Iberia and pays for any and all damages to Castille. Gibraltar becomes Venetian. However, Frederick's advisors remind him that the constant wars he has been fighting are damaging the Imperial economy and the peasants are becoming restless. With great disappointment, Frederick agrees that they are right and promises to not campaign again for the rest of his Emperorship, provided other nations do not interfere with Holy Roman interests. Look at the map on the HRE page so you know what to avoid. Isabella gives birth to a girl, Theodora Dolcez Habsburg. Frederick's daughter is also now of suitable age for marriage and awaits a suitor. Plague victims are quarantined.

* The Caliphate Province of Qoyunlu keeps working on its navy. The economy continues a slow growth, the concentration on the coast being ship-building. Meanwhile a deal is struck with Trebizond to give Qoyunlu the Eastern half of the country for some thousands of pounds of gold. (Trebizond is a vassal of the Caliphate).
* Their capital is located on the eastern half. This way you would be praticly annexing it.
* Saxony: The Elector orders a university to be built in Dresden, and so work begins on one. It will be a modest institution, but will make up for its size by the quality of its professors, artists, and philosophers. The Chief Constable of the Army begins an ambitious project to clothe all the infantry of the Electorate in a "uniform" way. Although many of his Lieutenant-Constables frown upon his decision, saying it will be too costly, he plows ahead.
* Siam continues to fight the Malaccans but fighting is turning in their favor on land - though at sea it remains a stalemate as both navies crush one another. The King decides to move the capital to a more strategic and efficient area for trade and a site is decided where OTL Bangkok is. Construction begins at once for the new city. Plans to create a new canal system in the country are also decided to increase agricultural growth inland. Trade continues to grow. The settlement of Borneo is stepped up and a few monasteries are built to aid the expansion of Theravada Buddhism on the island.
* The Manchurians continue work repairing damage to their infrastructure caused by the war with Korea. The Manchurians continue expanding their country northward. The Manchurians continue the work on upgrading their navy, which had been all but destroyed during the war.
* Poland builds up its military while stil focusing on rebuilding Lithuania. The Poles continue working on their tiny navy. King Casimir continues travelling around the reamining areas of Lithuania gathering support for his heir and line in order to continue the union of Poland and Lithuania. Ultimately with the largest faction within Lithuanian politics gone the nation is highly unstable so the King divides the nation - further separating the Ukrainians from the rest of the nation. The Polish-Lithuanian-Ukrainian Commonwealth is born.
* Lithuania continues re-establishing its authority over its remaining lands. The Lithuanian military begins recruitment once again.
* Ukraine with the borders of OTL Ukraine, brings together its noble houses and elects King Casimir as their ruler. The Ukrainians send grain to the Russian states as well as Lithuania. The Ukrainian nobles under the command of Casimir decide to begin the process of building up the Ukrainian army.
* I'm sorry, but the Ukrainian Identity hasn't been formed yet. Ukrainians and Belarussians diverged from Russians because of three hundred years of domination by Poland. Only one hundred years have passed. The divergence is excedingly minor. Many people living in the Regions probably consider themselves Russians. Ukrainians do not exist yet although the term Ruthenia is used to describe east slavic populations living outside of Russia. Urkainians and Belarussians do not exist yet. The culture has not had the time to diverge.
* The word Ukrainian was first used in the 11th century and spread widly in the 15th-17th century in Poland Lithuania. After the collapse of the commonwealth the name next reappeared in the 20th century.

More Caliphate diplomats are sent into Nejd too. The Caliph also announces the new provincial borders and the sets about ordering the new administration needed to enforce the new provincial borders. He hopes that this will stop the people from revolting and satisfy their claims for more control and say.

* Rajputana continues to improve relations between themselves and Tibet. The military is improved and grown. A wise man from the Punjab begins a journey across India passing through territory controlled by the Rajput Confederacy. He does and says many wonderful things. * Scotland continues their war against the Irish. King James II leads the attack upon the main encampment of the Irish forces, and there he wins a glorious victory against them. Unfortunately, James II is killed in the battle, leaving the crown to his son John. The Scots, enraged about the death of their King, carry out a massive attack upon the Irish, defeating most of the Irishmen in their claimed territory.
* England invades Ireland with all the power of its armies and navy. English, Irish, Anglo-Irish and Manx soldiers and sailors start attacking the Irish cities and villages. George I himself leads the attack from Dublin to join the Scottish forces. George I declares full support to Naples in case of attacks. Richard of York, Bailiff of the Dodecanese travels to Portugal and communicates to King Afonso that England, though still an ally, cannot support joining a war on the same side of a heretic country such as Granada, against a fellow Christian nation. George I meets John and tells him that his father will have revenge against the Irish barbarians.
* Can you add England to the algorithm of Scotland vs Ireland? The end result will simply be all the Irish states falling next year, instead of just the ones claimed by the Scots.
* King John II of Scotland states that the Scottish have crushed the Irish against them, and in one year Ireland will be divided between Scotland and England like the treaty.
* As the Scottish have made most effort, England will not forget soon. They shall be properly rewarded when need.
* The war has already ended basically, and Afonso VI died, and his heir is in England. We ask you to return him so he can be crowned.
* Calais, Lorraine and Pessaro declare full support to Naples, and ask the Emperor to use his power to veto the intentions of Venice of declaring war on a fellow Christian state. Edmund I asks the Milanese, Genoans, Swiss, Florentines and others to support Naples. Alessandro di Gradara tries to convince the Pope to support Naples too, as Naples, among the Order of Saint Petroc in Alfons and Pessaro, is protecting the church in Malta. Edmund I asks the Venetians to reconsider their actions.
* The Novgorodians consolidate their territory in White Russia. The Minsk Veche is set up (I mean, I annex Minsk ... at least I think that it is in the agreed territory, or at most 100 km away from it ... nobody's mapmaking skills are perfect). The military is amped up and troops are put on the borders. The Novgorod Navy sets up koch fleets in the White Sea. Novgorod becomes more and more modernized, as some efforts to modernize without losing culture are put in. The Renaissance is really starting to hit Russia. Meanwhile, due to trading with Crimea, certain aspects of the Plague make it into Russia. The death toll was 50 before it subsided. Luckily, quarantine measures stopped the plague from coming into Novgorod (by setting up a quarantine island and quarantine cities on the borders) after two weeks of spreading. The Novgorodians officially bring in a new coat of arms after the annexation. Talks about a Russian federation intensify, and the military occupation is being drawn back, although the Novgorod flag is lowered in Warsaw.
* Tibet: Troop buildup on the north border starts again, in order to help China in the upcoming war. Some groups support a change of government, but Gendun Wacheng's not-denouncing of Thunsen Gyatsen stops this movement from gaining a large basis. Boats continue to be built, though the focus is currently on the war in the north. Kashmir, along with Tibet, has discussions with both Punjab and the Delhi Sultanate about possible trade routes through their territories to the Rajputs. New monasteries are built in Nepal and northern Tibet.
* Milan: the army grows up, more cannons and arquebuses are used by the now professional and national army (no more mercenary based armies). Milan accepts Bavarian proposal about the Imperial Trade Fleet, and. More artists and workers from Milan travel to Karolin, along Genoan merchants. The Milanese fleet is training in Corsica. Francesco Sforza asks Naples to stop helping the HRE's enemies and the infidels, as we are very interested in Naples joining the Holy Empire and the Neapolitan actions can be interpreted as hostile. Francesco Sforza visits Florence to negotiate more economic cooperation and friendship.
* Naples declares that it will not support military action of the infiles and is seeking access to the powerful HRE
* Asti: Carlo Gonzaga suddenly recovers of his sickness but William VIII sadly gets sick, leaving the throne to William IX of Montferrat, his nephew. The economy grows up, the Astian army is standardized, but the mercenaries are still a motley force.
* Genoa: The economy grows up. More Germans migrate to Genoa. We ask Naples to stop fighting the Venetians.
* Naples declares that have never taken up arms against their Christian brothers and sisters the Venetians, and believe that they are powerful business allies and comrades in arms against infiles
* Papal States: The Pope sees a greater reduction in the diseased, as many are sent to Alfons, though the inhabitants there face many problems that will have to be addressed in the coming years. As well, the Pope declares full support for Naples, the neighbor to the south, though does not wish a war take place between the two fellow Catholic nations of Naples and Venice, and instead use their power to continue to counter the growing Caliphate. The Pope also agrees to deliver the royal crown to the Duke when the time comes for the crowning.
* The Inca Empire: Increase the size of the army, naval explorations, and the ships themselves. The population grows and expands in northern territories.
