Jom Olreb (callsign: Brown Leader, or Brown One) was an expert pilot in the Army of Ris'danon. Like the rest of the soldiers in that army, he had been born and raised on Ris'danon, and he was also trained on Ris'danon. Besides being an expert pilot, he also had commando training. Because of this, he was assigned to Brown Squadron. He became Brown Leader and commanded the rest of Brown Squadron. Under his command, his squadron never suffered any casualties until Darth Subeth attacked in 63 BBY. Then, Brown Squadron joined up with Dak Jesser and infiltrated through the main ship of the White Star Pirates fleet. When the Sith army came and the capital ship was under heavy fire, Brown Squadron, along with Dak Jesser, ran back to their ships and got out. Then Brown Squadron flew into Darth Sube

Then Brown Squadron flew into Darth Subeth's personal ship, where they were ambushed by the Sith Lord. Dak Jesser was nearly killed, but Brown Eight, Nessle Selanne, sacrificed herself to distract the Sith Lord and allow Dak to escape. Afterwards, the remaining eleven members of Brown Squadron were taken as prisoners by the Sith. After the whole Sith crisis was over and Brown Squadron was released, Shandra Fexive took Nessle's empty spot as Brown Eight.
