- Project CADMUS was a project managed by Section III of the Office of Naval Intelligence some time after the end of the Human-Covenant War. The project was authorized directly by ONI Commander-in-Chief Admiral Margaret Parangosky and continued by her predecessor, Admiral Serin Osman. It initially sought a variety of ways to counter the threat posed by the Flood, though CADMUS gradually evolved into an attempt to utilize the parasitic organism as a biological weapon. The project was eventually suspended, but not before several captive test subjects had been exposed to various degrees of Flood infestation.
- Project Cadmus is an organization of powerful people in the BZPB Universe. Their existence is shrouded in secrecy, as few outside of the organization know something about it, and even none know everything about it. Not even Books LLC!
- Project Cadmus is a scientific institution dealing with advanced genetics, genetic engineering, and cloning. They had a hand in the creation of Superboy (Kon-El), among many other genetically engineered creatures such as Dubbilex. Their operations are kept secret from the public. Guardian used to work for Cadmus, as he was one of their clones.
- Project Cadmus was a Office of Naval Intelligence project, attempting to seek a replacement for augmented personnel in future conflicts. Spurred on by advances in cybernetics, artificial intelligence and by numerous encounters with numerous mechanical enemies, such as the Promethean Knights, the results were referred to as Spartois, and were intended to powerful and durable combatants. Ever spiralling costs, technical issues, issues with the 'uncanny valley' and high-maintenance costs forced the program to be cancelled after only a few successfully integrated platform, but this project would inform its successor, Project Myrmidon.
- Project Cadmus, often referred to as simply Cadmus, was a secret division of the United States government dedicated to countering the power of metahumans in the world, particularly the members of the Justice League.
- Possessing wavering connections with the United States of America, the center's more notable creations include the Guardian (a clone possessing the original mind of the mystery man Guardian, who operated during World War II as a reserve member of the All-Star Squadron), Dubbilex (a D.N.Alien creation and extremely powerful telepath), and Superboy (a genetic clone combining the DNA of Superman and Lex Luthor).
