* File:Symbol question.svg Additional information needed Hey HBH! On your WMF account, would you please make an edit on your user page — like you’ve done here at Wikia — proving that it is your account and you have control over it? You can delete the edit right after. All we require is the diff. Thanks! — SpikeToronto 02:12, September 5, 2011 (UTC)

* File:Symbol support vote.svg Support One of the biggest issues in Head.Boy.Hog’s (HBH) previous attempts at RfR was in following the instructions to the letter, such that he was most often not granted the sysop bit as a matter of form, procedurally. With this filing, HBH has crossed that threshold and followed correctly the instructions at ATW:RfR. This allows us to look at the substance of his request. HBH mentions that he has been receiving admin coaching from me. I’m not sure I’d call it that, since, in that regard, he probably could have found a more capable coach. Nonetheless, in that process we covered much of the ground that had counted against him substantively in his earlier requests. He seems to have grown to understand where he had erred previously as an Administrator on his test wiki. This growth is most ably demonstrated by his work as an Administrator and content creator at the HogwartsRPG wiki. I’ve had occasion to “spy” on some of his work there and have found him to be surprisingly conscientious and working most often toward improving that wiki, the ultimate goal of which is a spotlight for it. Here at ATW, HBH has been quite helpful in that game of whack-a-mole called keeping a lid on Farrell99999 and Eglinton. To his credit, when permabanned Eglinton began sockpuppeting and revealed himself to HBH, HBH chose the integrity of the Wikia community over his cyber-relationship with Eglinton and took proper action with Wikia Staff. I think that HBH is ready for the sysop bit here at ATW and support his request. — SpikeToronto 20:51, September 11, 2011 (UTC)

* File:Symbol support vote.svg Support- Meh- well we just got a new admin so i support this one. TheBen10Mazter (Talk -Blog -Contribs) 21:15, September 11, 2011 (UTC)
* File:Face-confused.svg Um... If I understand your comment correctly, you're saying that you're voting neutral because ATW just gained another admin? There is no "limit" for the amount of admins on this wiki. (Also, there are only a few active admins right now.) Do I understand correctly? Thanks! Please Note: I have merged your two comments, TheBen10Mazter, hope you don't mind.
* Yes- change my vote to acually to Support- i dont have time right now- sorry. --TheBen10Mazter (Talk -Blog -Contribs) 22:53, September 11, 2011 (UTC)
* Okay...
* Image:Pictogram voting comment.svg Comment for TheBen10Mazter: I appreciate your participation in RfRs here at the Admin Tools Wiki (ATW). Anyone who is a contributor here, regardless of the level of their user rights, is welcome and encouraged to participate in the RfR process. And for that participation, I thank you. However, I need to point a few procedural things for your continued participation in them:
* There is no limit to the number of Testing Administrators (TAG) here at ATW. HBH is seeking to become a member of the TAG. Therefore, it is not relevant that the ATW community recently granted these same privileges to Kangaroopower. HBH is not seeking to become a member of the Active Administrators Group (AAG). In fact, there is no RfR process for that group. Membership therein is an organic result of one’s participation in the ATW community.
* An RfR is a serious thing. Participation is meant to be serious. After all, we are deciding whether to grant someone the keys to the kingdom, as it were. Form well your thoughts before actually posting them here. Neutral votes are usually cast in terms of the candidate’s actual performance, and not for other reasons. Don’t clutter up someone’s RfR any more than necessary.
* You cannot edit/alter/remove your comments once they have been responded to. It deprives the response of meaning. I realize that, as it now stands, your support next to your comments does not make sense. When you want to edit/alter/remove comments that have already been responded to, you have to strike them out. Then, input your new comments inline with the struck out text. Thanks! — SpikeToronto 04:18, September 12, 2011 (UTC)
* Spike: the limit on admins- i know- thats why i changed my vote. Changing comment- I did not- i just fixed it so it did not sound weird- plus it was my comment- neutral thing- it has been changed to support. --TheBen10Mazter (Talk -Blog -Contribs) 19:12, September 12, 2011 (UTC)
* B10M: This is the edit to which I was referring. Because HBH had already responded, the only option available to you was striking out the text and adding new text. In fact, customarily, even if one has not responded to your comments, if more than a few minutes have passed since you posted it, striking out the text is preferrable. (Read Wikipedia:Talk page guidelines#Own comments (shortcut → WP:TALKOWN). While this is not technically in a talk namespace, an RfR is structured and treated as such.) Lastly, as regards RfRs and RfAs, it is the norm not to touch your earlier vote at all. Rather, it is completely struck out and an entirely new vote is posted. Finally, let’s not continue this discussion here. It is not fair to clutter up HBH’s RfR with this side discussion about RfR protocol and customs. If you absolutely must continue on this issue, take it to my talk page. Thanks! — SpikeToronto 22:08, September 12, 2011 (UTC)
* File:Symbol support vote.svg Support During his time here on Admin Tools Wiki, Head.Boy.Hog learned the essential duties and restrictions of an administrator. As SpikeToronto summarized it, he earned more than sufficient experience to merit inclusion into ATW's sysop corps. I hereby support this nomination. TK999 13:12, September 12, 2011 (UTC)
* File:Face-smile.svg Thank you!
* File:Symbol support vote.svg Support- Seems good, His last rfr failed due to some bad coding, thats all. Also you guys should really mke a support/oppose section.—The preceding unsigned comment was added by Kangaroopower (talk • contribs).
* Feel free to bring the issue to the Noticeboard. TK999 12:51, September 13, 2011 (UTC)Bureaucrats' closing notes and conclusions
Promoted via phone, more later. — Jeff G. ツ 15:29, September 13, 2011 (UTC) Image:Pictogram voting comment.svg Bureaucrat Note: Many of us active users have dealt with HBH in the past, but I think he's grown since then. The fact that no one has dissented in nine days speaks volumes. I'm sorry I didn't weigh in sooner, but someone was going to have to close this request, so I silently recused myself. I will try to notify him of his promotion if no one beats me to it. — Jeff G. ツ 22:59, September 13, 2011 (UTC)
