Petersfield Court is an inter war block of flats on the Stratford Road in Hall Green, Birmingham. Built in around 1937, it contains 14 flats in a building of an Art Deco style. It consists of a flat roof, plastered brick walls and rounded corner windows. The corner window had become possible by the introduction of reinforced concrete and was being used by many leading European architects such as Walter Gropius. But as reinforced concrete proved uneconomical for walls, it was replaced by plastered brick with iron tubes supporting the curved window lintols.
