Reverend William Panckridge (c.1837 - 8 June 1887) was a schoolmaster and Church of England clergyman. The son of Francis Panckridge of Oxfordshire. He was educated at Jesus College, Cambridge, graduating B.A. in 1864 and M.A. in 1868. He was ordained as a deacon in 1865 and as a priest in 1866. He was elected to the London School Board in 1885 as one of the representatives for Finsbury, resigning in 1887. In February 1887 he became ill, dying four months later, aged 50. He was buried in Highgate Cemetery. Some information here [1]

He was educated at Jesus College, Cambridge, graduating B.A. in 1864 and M.A. in 1868. He was ordained as a deacon in 1865 and as a priest in 1866. He was curate of St. Matthew, City Road 1865-66. From 1866-72 he was headmaster of St. Thomas's Charterhouse Middle-class School. In 1872 he was appointed vicar of St Matthew's City Road and in 1884 became rector of St Bartholomew the Great, West Smithfield. He oversaw the restoration of the church in 1885/6. He was elected to the London School Board in 1885 as one of the representatives for Finsbury, resigning in 1887. In February 1887 he became ill, dying four months later, aged 50.
