  • Bryma was a star with an associated star system location in the galaxy's Alpha Quadrant, near the space of the Federation and the Cardassian Union in the 24th century. Bryma was a G type body in the vicinity of the Hugora Nebula, near Almatha, Celtris, Topin, Hakton and Saltok. (ST reference: Star Charts) This system was the location of a planet, also named Bryma. This location was annexed by the Cardassians in the year 2343. (TLE novel: The Art of the Impossible) After the treaty of 2370, Bryma became part of the Demilitarized Zone. Bryma later became the target of the Maquis, who suspected it was being used as a weapons depot for the Cardassians colonists in the DMZ. The attempted Maquis attack, led by Cal Hudson, was turned back by forces from Deep Space 9. (DS9 episode: "The Maquis, Part II", VOY - The Brave and the Bold, Book Two novella: The Third Artifact; ST reference: Star Charts)
