Attack modes are the different types of attacks that can be performed with a weapon. For example, a 10mm SMG can shoot in single shot, aimed shot, or burst shot. Different attacks do different damage and/or have different ranges (a spear normally has a 2 range, but when set to throw, it has 15 range). Attack mode also allows the PC to access targeted shots with applicable weapons, this is where the V.A.T.S. menu will be displayed.

  • The user can go into a mode or form made for attack allowing the user to get an incredible offensive capabilities or increase their current offensive power.
  • In Elona+, you may adjust the attack modes of pets, either via using an attack flag or the directive special action. Basically, there are 3 primary attack modes. 1. * Offensive modeThis is the normal mode which pets are usually in. In this mode, pets will seek enemies and try to kill them. 2. * Defensive modeWhen switched to this mode, there will be a small blue square in front of pets' HP bar. In this mode, pets will NOT make any attacks and hence will receive only 1/3 of the original damage. 3. * Intercept modeWhen switched to this mode, there will be a small orange square in front of pets' HP bar. In this mode, pets will follow the user's movement;once pets are far away from the user, they will try to move toward the user.
