These are the three central tenets that all Diep.io Wiki Staff must follow if they wish to retain their User-Rights & remain on Staff. Failure to comply with these can result in demotions, being fired outright, or in a full ban from the Wiki. Ignorance of these rules is not an excuse for breaking them. Therefore, if you are on Staff, you have a duty of care to read the following definitions; non-Staff may ignore them. __TOC__ |-|Exceptions & Footnotes=

| - These are the three central tenets that all Diep.io Wiki Staff must follow if they wish to retain their User-Rights & remain on Staff. Failure to comply with these can result in demotions, being fired outright, or in a full ban from the Wiki. Ignorance of these rules is not an excuse for breaking them. Therefore, if you are on Staff, you have a duty of care to read the following definitions; non-Staff may ignore them. __TOC__ |-|Disrespect for Rules= This is rather self-explanatory; it is the attitude, or belief, that the rules either do not apply to oneself or that they need not be applied to all users equally (read: Cronyism). Staff should follow & enforce the rules not because they are afraid of reprimand from above, although that will be a factor, but because they respect & believe in the rules they are enforcing. Disagreement with them is fine, & Petitioning to change them is encouraged, but apathy toward the rules is not tolerated. Users who believe in the rules & their work will advance, while users who disregard & disrespect them will be replaced. |-|What is the Neglect of Power?= In essence, this is inactivity, or the underuse of power. Staff are given their rights so that they can use them for the good of the Wiki; to protect it, enhance it, & moderate it. Failure to fully utilize the powers you have been granted may result in a demotion to a lower level. Repeated streaks of complete inactivity may result in ejection from Staff. |-|What is the Misuse of Power?= This is essentially the opposite of neglect; it is the overuse of power. Power used without good reason or forethought. On this Wiki, it has historically not been as large of an issue as the underuse of power, but it has the potential to be much worse; due to the high degree of control over the Wiki that User-Rights give to each person. For this reason, engaging in any of the restricted activities stipulated below can potentially result in instantaneous demotions or even outright bans. What is the Misuse of Rollback Rights? 1.
* Rollbacking a series of edits when only one of them needs to be nullified. 2.
* Editing the comments of other individuals without a serious reason, such as to turn off autoplay modules, to shrink obnoxiously large images, or to remove other forms of spam. 3.
* Any other exercises of Rollback Rights that an Administrator deems to be unacceptable. What is the Misuse of Chat Moderator Rights? 1.
