From here, it goes north onto West 70th Avenue, and goes west on this street to Granville Street, which it turns right on, and starts going north. It then crosses over False Creek (and Granville Island) via the Granville Street Bridge into Downtown Vancouver. It then goes along Seymour Street (or Howe Street in the other direction) northeast to an intersection with West Georgia Street. It then goes northwest along this street to the Stanley Park Causeway. It then goes through Stanley Park to the Lions Gate Bridge, which it crosses into West Vancouver. In West Vancouver, Highway 99 follows Marine Drive to an intersection with Taylor Way. It then goes down Taylor Way north to a junction with Highway 1 (The Upper Levels Highway/Trans-Canada Highway). It then follows the Upper Levels Highway west to Horseshoe Bay, where Highway 1 diverges west on a ferry, thus marking the end of the Lower Mainland section.
