Description
| - iZombie is about Gwen Dylan, a revenant or "zombie", who has adventures in and around Eugene, Oregon, where she works as a gravedigger. She is best friends with ghost Ellie and were-dog Scott. They fight a variety of monsters, including zombies, vampires, poltergeists and ghosts. The series bases its monster origins on ancient Egyptian concepts of over-soul and under-soul, rather than modern explanations.
- Liv Moore is a "zombie", a human mutated after being exposed to a mix of the drug Utopium and the Max Rager energy drink. In order to satiate her desire for brains, she works as an assistant coroner. Her diet of brains allows her to see flashes of the victim's memories. This allows her to aid the Seattle Police Department solving crime. Her allies are her boss Ravi Chakrabarti, detective Clive Babineaux, ex-fiance Major Lilywhite, boyfriend Lowell Tracey and roommate Peyton Charles. Her prime enemy is drug dealer Blaine DeBeers.

| - If you are going to buy comic books for your child, remember that most comic books are not for kids anymore. They are written for adults. Most comic books published by DC have a handy rating system on the cover to determine whether or not they are appropriate. If you're not sure, you should probably read the comic book for yourself before giving it to your child. Who knows? You might discover that you enjoy it too!
