| - India Fisher initially played Peril Bellamy in Winter for the Adept alongside her friend Liz Sutherland. She later returned to play Charlotte Pollard, companion to the Eighth Doctor as played by Paul McGann, becoming the first actor cast as a recurring companion of a current Doctor since Sophie Aldred took the role of Ace in 1987. Fisher holds the longest continuous streak as a companion of the Doctor. From January 2001, starting with the release of Storm Warning until January 2007, she participated in every Eighth Doctor audio adventure. Beginning with The Condemned she reprised the role of Charlotte in an arc of stories alongside Colin Baker as the Sixth Doctor. In 2014, she was given her own spin-off — the Charlotte Pollard audio series. Outside of Doctor Who, Fisher has performed in other voice and television work. For Big Finish she appeared in the original comedy Fly Me to the Moon alongside Sylvester McCoy, as well as the scifi play Earthsearch Mindwarp, based on a James Follett novel. She appeared in the Dead Ringers television series, and had a voice role in Scifi Channel UK's spinoff Blake's 7 audio series. She is the longtime narrator of the UK series MasterChef.
