A topic that appears a number of times in comic are the Three Laws of Robotics (as defined by Isaac Asimov), they are mentioned in the ending of The Seventh Megaman Game and during the introduction of the First Megaman X Game, though it's obvious that it wasn't hard coded in. The Three Laws are a series of laws created by Isaac Asimov that would be hard coded into robots in order that they don't follow the usual horror story route of trying to kill all humans/take over the world (and those that do try short circuit). He developed those laws to write a series of short stories to analyze how they could mess up (while still following the laws (mostly)). (Tame robots do not sell stories).

It is very clear that the BobandGeorge cast do not follow the Three Laws. Dave has stated it several times. Protoman breaks the first two laws. Mega Man's Missing! - Or Should He Say 'Oops'?
