Hiëronymus van Stridon en andere hoogwaardigheidsbekleders. Bij de invasie van Rome door de Visigoten onder koning Alarik in 401 werd zij gefolterd om te weten te komen waar haar waardevolle bezittingen waren, die zij echter alle had weggeschonken.
