The Credit Wars was a series of brutal conflicts in Africa. An increasing number of African states refused to pay back the crippling interest owed to the West, to which the Western powers responded with military force. Africa was left in ruins even before the Atomic wars but was able to fight back hard enough that their enemies agreed to a compromise deal: three Development Areas were set up in ravaged land, where anybody could set up a state or farmland if they had the money and could sway the Pan-African Committee. (Quietly, several destroyed states like Kenya began to rebuild) -Trivia-
