  • Reinforced walls are impossible for enemy forces to dig through. Unless the enemy has a Destroy Walls available to un-fortify them, they are as effective of a barrier as solid rock. Nearly every type of room (even a Treasure Room) is more efficient when surrounded by reinforced walls.

  • Reinforced Walls are a fortification option featured in Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege. They are essentially indestructible reinforcements that are capable of being permanently placed on breachable walls and trap doors. They may only be breached by Thermite or Hibana. File:Reinforced Wall.jpg All defending Operators are equipped with two reinforced walls except the Recruit, who only carries one. One Reinforced Wall may be replenished upon interacting with an ammunition cache, allowing for a maximum of five walls to be resupplied. Players need to hold down the placement button while the animation runs, otherwise, the reinforced wall will fail to be placed and will be returned to the player's inventory. It will not be interrupted if the player is shot but will not be successful if they are killed before it is complete. This can be useful, though, as it allows players to quickly react to any unexpected breaches. Reinforced wall's bulletproof cover will also protect players as they are being placed. They are best placed in rooms surrounding the objective where players cannot afford for them to be breached by the Attackers and are effective in creating chokepoints as a result. Defenders should also pay attention to any trap doors above the objective and reinforce accordingly. Trap doors can only be reinforced from the topside, so players will have to venture out to find the top. Despite this, players should not fortify every available wall as it will effectively trap them and deny possible means of flanking. This will also give Attackers an easier time to dispatch the Defenders as they are all in relatively close proximity. Another viable reason to not fortify walls is that once normal walls have been breached, Defenders may still deploy a reinforced wall over them, even if none of the original wall remains, effectively repairing it. However, a breached reinforced wall cannot be replaced. As Thermite and Hibana are the only Operators capable of breaching through reinforced walls, Mute's Signal Jammer is very effective at preventing them from doing so. Bandit's Shock Wire is also effective as it can electrify reinforced walls and destroy any enemy devices that come in contact with them, preventing the attackers from breaching.
