The mod adds new player respawning mechanics to the Middle-earth dimension to better suit the world map biome generation. If your player dies within a range of 2000 blocks away from the world spawnpoint (x: 0, z: 0) or less than 5000 blocks away from a valid bed, then you will respawn near your bed or the Ring Portal. These new mechanics are enabled by default, but they can be disabled in the mod's config file. The distances involved can also be changed there.

  • The mod adds new player respawning mechanics to the Middle-earth dimension to better suit the world map biome generation. If your player dies within a range of 2000 blocks away from the world spawnpoint (x: 0, z: 0) or less than 5000 blocks away from a valid bed, then you will respawn near your bed or the Ring Portal. Otherwise Middle-earth respawning comes into effect and you will respawn somewhere within a distance of 500 to 2000 blocks from your death point. This is to prevent players who die a long distance from their spawn point, having to undertake journeys of several thousand blocks - or much further - to return to their death point. These new mechanics are enabled by default, but they can be disabled in the mod's config file. The distances involved can also be changed there.
