  • Imps (「天邪鬼」?; Amanojaku; heavenly evil spirit) are the first type of demons encountered in Ōkami and Ōkamiden. They come in 5 varieties: Green Imps, Red Imps, Yellow Imps, Blue Imps and Black Imps. They are regularly encountered in Shinshu Field, Agata Forest, Tsuta Ruins, Taka Pass, the Gale Shrine, the Moon Cave and the City Checkpoint. In Ōkamiden, the Imps reappear with different designs and battle tactics. Some "traditional" Imps appear when Chibiterasu goes to the past with Kurow.
  • Imps are a class of monsters, and can be seen in every level in Fate. They are short, bipedal, hostile monsters which CAN wield and drop weapons. There are three kinds of imps; Forest Imps, Night Imps, and Imp Shamans.

  • Imps are invisible creatures that serve the most skillful witches. Queen Zixi summoned imps to weave an exact likeness of the Magic Cloak originally woven by Fairies. (Queen Zixi of Ix) Ozma encountered a trio of visible imps named Olite, Udent, and Ertinent, who who had no respect for anyone or anything. They jeered at strangers and made faces at them, and often they pushed travelers out of the path or threw stones at them. Finally the Wizard came to her rescue and turned them into buttons. ("Ozma and the Little Wizard")
  • Imps are very varied creatures, and they ranged from common pests, to holy warriors.
  • Imps are flying enemies which teleport around and cast single-target Dart-type spells. They have high evasion, but low health; they are easily killed by most types of damage spells or auto-hitting special actions. Nevertheless, they can be dangerous even to mid- or high-level characters; a repeated peppering of Dart spells hurts!
  • Imps are used to contribute further to the Professions of Mining and Herbalism. In order to raise an imps level you must feed it Gear close to your level from the ETC tab in your Inventory, when the Full bar on the right has been filled the imp will fall asleep for several hours, when the time has elapsed it will have levelled up and evolved. You can only raise an Imp in your Item Pot, certain Imp Items may be used to take better care of your Imp and get the most out of it.
  • Imps are brown-coloured, short creatures, that evolved within the bouderies of the Iynats Volcano range in Argoneur.

  • Imps are humanoid beings of various sizes, and appearances, some of which possess magical powers which they use for their own purposes. They are often associated with goblins because they have a mischievous reputation. They resemble short humans with pointy ears, although a few rare imps may have rounded ears like a human and their most common skin color is green while some imps may share the same skin colors as humans. Imps have very varied sizes compared to other races seen, with some being the same size as Smurfs, while others are the size of short humans (but seeming like giants when compared to the more common smaller imps). There is also a different variety of imp known as Miniature Imps which are even smaller than regular imps and grab on to certain people they like to the point whe
  • Imps were a race of extradimensional beings, who had magical or magic-like powers. Considering they were capable of travelling from one dimension to another, it is difficult to determine what was the home dimension (let alone homeworld) of the imps, but they were known to exist in dimensions higher than the 3rd dimension, such as both the 4th and the 5th dimensions. Whether or not any lived in the 6th dimension or beyond is unknown, but they are definitely a rare sight in the 3rd Dimension, where they were generally viewed as supernatural creatures from legends and fairy tales.
  • Imps are creatures that were once fairies but have fallen from that state by being kept indoors overnight. Unlike a fairy, an imp does not have wings. Instead, it has dark, leathery skin, and nubs where the wings used to be. In book one, Seth captures a fairy in a jar because he is inspired by Maddox, a Fairy catcher, trader, and buyer. Unbeknownst to Seth, a fairy kept indoors from sundown to sunup turns into an imp. In retribution for their sister's fall, the other fairies morph Seth into a walrus-like creature.

Text
  • These damnable abominations, virtually extinct elsewhere in Britannia, remain alive in the Abyss despite our best efforts to slay every last one of them. They are a foul conglomeration, part demon, part monkey and perhaps part creature or creatures unknown . Flying lazily overhead in the larger crevices, taunting our Knights and tossing down the occasional arcane bolt, Imps have been a nuisance and a thorn in our flesh since our arrival. They are poor fighters when one can draw them into hand-to-hand combat, and can easily be slain with a sword-thrust or two - if they can be enticed to fight.
