Created on the Ainur homeworld of Oriuntur, the nine Tho Yor were crafted to serve as the salvation of the galaxy. At the height of the Ainu society, the Force expressed itself through a vibrant array of different species. Of the original species of the galaxy, each great society was comprised entirely of Force-sensitives and each managed to live in harmony with one another. However, the emergence of several elitist societies brought the galaxy to war and conflict. Because of this, the Force itself was diluted and the rate of Force-sensitives declined steeply in newly emerging races. Among the original species, they would eventually see the diminishing of their own potency within the Force. For the Ainur, they saw their race disappearing and sought a way to ensure the preservation of the F

| - Created on the Ainur homeworld of Oriuntur, the nine Tho Yor were crafted to serve as the salvation of the galaxy. For the Ainur, they saw their race disappearing and sought a way to ensure the preservation of the Force and a return to the galaxy's original state. To this end they designed the nine pyramid ships which could traverse the galaxy and gather the Forceful individuals from different species across the galaxy. Once collected, the Tho Yor would then be directed to the Deep Core world of Tython, where the Force remained extremely potent and raw. It would be here that the different species of the galaxy would be tested; pitted against nature and the Force in a fight for survival. Through these conditions, the Forceful would unlock the secrets of the Force and uncover the path back to the galaxy's original state. Despite the plans of the Ainur, the purpose of the Tho Yor was largely forgotten. Even the wisest of the Ainur who boarded the Tho Yor forgot over time if they were ever aware to begin with. those who remembered struggled too with a lack of foreknowledge of the future, and could not divine what would happen if the Forceful ever achieved Balance. For the largest population of Ainur who knew these future plans vanished from the galaxy while the Tho Yor gathered passengers, and the mysteries of their intentions were deepened.
