| - Noa was a peasant girl who lived in Gotei Island. She was fifteen years old when in 1200 she was forced to leave the island, which was being overrun by a Shadowlands horde. She managed to board a ship, joining a magistrate, Tsuruchi Kaito, who took her as her doshin. They managed to reach mainland Rokugan fighting the demonic creatures that attacked the ship.

- Achinoam Nini, better known by her stage name Noa, is an Israeli singer of Yemenite origin. She has been performing for over a quarter of a century with her longtime partner and collaborator Gil Dor. Together with Israeli Arab singer Mira Awad, she represented her home country in the Eurovision Song Contest 2009 in Moscow, finishing in 16th place in the final.
